Credit Card Policy

PROCESSING CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS:
Normal stock items: Your credit card transaction will be processed when your order ships.
Backordered normal stock items: The credit card transaction will be processed when each order or part of an order ships. (Partial shipments necessitate multiple credit card transactions.)
"Special Orders" requiring advance payment: Your credit card transaction will be processed when you authorize the processing of the special order. You will be notified in advance of processing the credit card transaction if an item requires advance payment.
 
MINIMIZING CREDIT CARD FRAUD:
DGA HOUSTON is committed to minimizing fraudulent credit card transactions. We have implemented a system of internal controls and verification to confirm the validity of credit card transactions. DGA HOUSTON takes credit card information seriously:
NO complete credit card information is included with shipments. Invoices are sent separately via postal mail.
Retained paperwork and "orders in process" containing credit card information are kept in locked file cabinets until disgarded.
ANY discarded paperwork containing credit card information is shreaded.
 
CREDIT CARD CHARGE AUTHORIZATION:
The cardholder is required to complete a "Credit Card Charge Authorization" prior to processing an order under the following conditions:
Mail, Phone or E Commerce (Internet) credit card transaction and
AVS security system does not return a complete match on both address and postal code or
Shipping address is different from the billing address
"Credit Card Charge Authorization" will be e mailed to the address provided with the order. The e mail will contain a .pdf / Adobe AcrobatTM attachment. If you require Acrobat reader, the current version can be downloaded from http://www.adobe.com (Follow the instructions to "Get Acrobat Reader.") Launch Acrobat Reader and print the authorization form. If you are unable to open and print the .pdf file attachment, reply with a fax number and we will fax the authorization form. In the event that the e mail address is invalid or no fax number is available, the authorization form will be sent by postal mail to the "Bill To" address provided with the order. Review the "Credit Card Charge Authorization," sign, date and return by fax or postal mail.
 
 
Freight Policy (U.S., except Alaska & Hawaii)

DGA Houston ships UPS Ground if a package meets published weight and size guidelines, unless otherwise specified by the customer at the time of ordering. Freight charges are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Shipping charges are calculated based on product weight and UPS published rate in effect as of the ship date and may not reflect DGA Houston's actual shipping costs.
COD orders are not accepted.
Incomplete shipments: Orders which are incomplete due to individual items "out of stock" will be held until the order is complete. If you wish to receive "in stock" items in lieu of waiting for complete shipment, advise at the time of ordering or reply by e mail referencing the order number. Additional freight charges may apply to split shipments. All freight charges remain the responsibility of the purchaser.
We cannot ship to PO Boxes, APO or FPO addresses.
 
 
Freight Policy (Alaska, Hawaii, International Shipments)

DGA Houston ships UPS 2nd Day (Blue) to Alaska and Hawaii if a package meets published weight and size guidelines, unless otherwise specified by the customer at the time of ordering. Freight charges are the responsibility of the purchaser.
 
Call, Fax or E Mail for information regarding international shipments.
 
 
Cancellation Policy

Orders cannot be cancelled once product has passed to the carrier. After receiving product, please call DGA Houston and request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). A 25% restocking fee will be assessed and all freight charges (both ways) are the responsibility of the customer.
 
 
Return Policy

DGA Houston's return policy is included as part of a separate document titled "Warranty Information, Defective Merchandise, Return Policy and Procedures."
 
 
Technical Support Policy

DGA Houston is committed to supporting the products we sell. For the first 90 days following the invoice date of your purchase, we will provide incoming telephone support at no charge to assist you in diagnosing hardware and software problems related to hardware or software purchased from DGA Houston. Available from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Central Time, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays by dialing DGA Houston's "landline" telephone service.
 
For assistance on products that DGA Houston has not sold to you, on-site support services, outgoing technical support, or after the initial 90 day period, DGA Houston will assist you under the following conditions:
 
"STANDARD" TELEPHONE SUPPORT: Available from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Central Time, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. "Standard" Telephone Support rates are applicable through DGA Houston's "landline" telephone service.
Incoming Voice: First minute no charge. Each additional minute at US$ 2.00 per minute.
Outgoing Local Data or Voice: Each minute at US$ 2.00 per minute.
Outgoing Long Distance Data or Voice (Domestic U.S. Only): Each minute US$ 2.50 per minute.
Outgoing Long Distance Data or Voice (Other than Domestic U.S.): Call
In the event that it is necessary for DGA Houston to return your long distance phone call for any reason, DGA Houston will charge you the applicable outgoing long distance rate unless you elect to return the call within the first minute. If you elect to return the call within the first minute, DGA Houston will not invoice you for the first minute of the outgoing call. When you call back, you will be invoiced at the incoming rate, when applicable.
 
"EXTENDED/PRIORITY" TELEPHONE SUPPORT: "Extended/Priority" Telephone Support rates are applicable through DGA Houston's "handheld/cellular" telephone service (Contact DGA Houston for number). Available from 8:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Central Time, Monday through Friday; 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Central Time, Weekends and Holidays
Incoming Voice: First minute US$ 10.00. Each additional minute at US$ 3.50 per minute.
Outgoing Local Data or Voice: First minute US$ 10.00. Each additional minute at US$ 3.50 per minute.
Outgoing Long Distance Data or Voice (Domestic U.S. Only): First minute US$ 10.00. Each additional minute at US$ 5.00 per minute.
Outgoing Long Distance Data or Voice (Other than Domestic U.S.): Call
In the event that it is necessary for DGA Houston to return your long distance phone call for any reason, DGA Houston will charge you the applicable outgoing long distance rate unless you elect to return the call within the first minute. If you elect to return the call within the first minute, DGA Houston will not invoice you for the first minute of the outgoing call. When you call back, you will be invoiced at the incoming rate, when applicable.
 
ON SITE SUPPORT:
HOURLY:
Weekdays US$ 90.00 per hour portal-to-portal plus expenses, if applicable. Minimum ½ Hour. Rounded up to the nearest ½ hour.
Saturdays US$ 120.00 per hour portal-to-portal plus expenses, if applicable. Minimum ½ Hour. Rounded up to the nearest ½ hour.
Sundays and Holidays US$ 160.00 per hour portal-to-portal plus expenses, if applicable. Minimum ½ Hour. Rounded up to the nearest ½ hour.
 
DAY RATE: Day rate reflects a commitment in advance of services being rendered.
Weekdays US$ 550.00 per 8-hour day plus expenses. Beyond 8 hours at US$ 90.00 per hour, rounded up to the nearest hour.
Saturdays US$ 750.00 per 8-hour day plus expenses. Beyond 8 hours at US$ 120.00 per hour, rounded up to the nearest hour.
Sundays and Holidays US$ 950.00 per 8-hour day plus expenses. Beyond 8 hours at US$ 160.00 per hour, rounded up to the nearest hour.
