Deferred command. Code is inserted into
data buffer and trips the drawer whenever
the character is queued for printing from
the buffer.

Immediate. Drawer is immediately tripped
independent of the data buffer.

Extended duration trigger pulse.

Applicable only for printers equipped with
autocutter.

Control codes are decimal ASCII surrounded
by brackets (<>).

Many newer printers can be configured to
emulate the Epson / ESCPOSTM
control codes.
