Warranty Information
Warranty Terms and
Conditions: The manufacturer's warranty
applies to all products sold by DGA Houston.
Warranty terms and conditions differ from
manufacturer to manufacturer. For specific
manufacturer's warranty policies, contact DGA
Houston.
Software: Only
the manufacturers warranty applies to software.
Opened packages of software may not be returned
to DGA Houston for credit or exchange unless
authorized by the software vendor. Be sure that
you have checked the package and verified that
you have received the correct type and version
BEFORE OPENING. Read the software licensing
agreement before using. We will NOT BE
RESPONSIBLE FOR WRONG SHIPMENTS ONCE THE PACKAGE
HAS BEEN OPENED.
Voided
Warranties: Unauthorized repair or
modification of products other than adjustments
specified in the product manual or written
instructions from the product manufacturer or DGA
Houston technical staff will void all warranties.
This includes soldering or cutting traces on
boards, opening of hard drives or CD ROM drives
or performing internal adjustments on monitors.
Customer abuse, including inadequately packed
products for shipment, will void all warranties.
Defective Merchandise
If You Receive
Defective Merchandise (DOA): If you
receive merchandise that is DOA (Dead on
Arrival), call DGA Houston immediately. DOA
policies vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.
We will assist in applying the manufacturer's
policy and resolving the problem.
Defective Merchandise
Within the Warranty Period: When a product
becomes defective within the warranty period, we
will assist in arranging for its repair or we
will replace the product with new or refurbished
product of the same type or equivalent according
to our vendor's warranty policy. Replacement
product or parts will be warranted from the date
of original invoice or 30 days from the RMA date,
whichever is greater.
Some merchandise must be serviced only at the
manufacturer's Authorized Service Center or
returned directly to the manufacturer for repair
or replacement and WILL NOT BE EXCHANGED AT DGA
HOUSTON UNLESS WE RECEIVE AUTHORIZATION FROM THE
MANUFACTURER. DGA Houston will warrant all
products according to the warranty limitation of
the vendors. Note that most manufacturers will
charge a fee if no fault is found with the
returned product. The charge is normally between
$35 and $75.
Return Policy and Procedures
Returns must have RMA
label(s) attached: Product returned to DGA
Houston for any reason must be accompanied by a
"Return Merchandise Authorization" (RMA). For RMA
questions or assistance, phone DGA Houston. To
speed the process, please have the following

the Problem |
When RMA numbers are issued, RMA labels are faxed
or e-mailed to you with instructions and a list
of items authorized for return. RMA's are only
valid for thirty (30) days from date of issue.
Products received without an RMA label or with an
expired RMA label will be returned unopened.
Policies:

A. |
Any returns other than defective must be
requested within thirty (30) days from the
invoice date and must be unopened, with no
labels or writing on products or boxes.

B. |
If you receive product that is defective
upon receipt or DOA, contact DGA Houston
immediately (No later than 10 days from the
invoice date to comply with most
manufacturer's DOA exchange policy).
Defective product is replaced or repaired
as per the DOA and warranty policy of the
individual product manufacturer. DGA
Houston will assist you in resolving the
problem however we provide no warranty
other than the warranty offered by the
manufacturer of the product.

C. |
Any product damaged by the freight carrier
cannot be returned for credit. Contact the
freight carrier directly to file a claim.

D. |
Only those items authorized for return on
an issued RMA will be credited. Credit will
not be issued if the items returned do not
match items on the RMA label / packing
list.

E. |
Products received without a valid RMA label
or with and expired RMA label will be
refused.
|
|
F. |
Freight for all returns is the customer's
responsibility and must be prepaid. Freight
on shipper errors will be reimbursed for
ground only -- do not return product by
air.
|
|
G. |
No call tags will be issued.
|
|
H. |
Products returned C.O.D. will be refused.
Unauthorized "Freight Collect" charges will
be denied.
|
|
I. |
All returned product is subject to 25%
restocking charge, with the following
exceptions: product shipped in error by the
shipper and product that is defective. If
you were instructed to return defective
product to DGA Houston, the product
returned as defective will be tested; if it
is not defective, it will be subject to 25%
restocking charge.

J. |
Please enclose a detailed, written
description of the defect with each
defective return.

Disclaimer: DGA
Houston is not responsible for the loss of data
on storage devices (hard disk drives, tape
drives, floppy diskettes, zip disks, etc.). WE
STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you backup your data
prior to shipping products that contain data.
Shipping Replacement
Product ("Cross Shipping"): Replacement
products will be sent as soon as we receive your
defective products. Or, if you wish, we'll
immediately send replacement products and charge
them to your credit card, then issue a refund or
credit your card when we receive your return.
Return
Restrictions: Some products have return
restrictions. Restrictions apply to all software
whose license seals have been broken, special
orders, promotions or damaged products. In
addition, some manufacturers have specific
restrictions on return of product. Contact DGA
Houston if you have a question about a
manufacturer and whether they have specific
return restrictions.
